Foreign Payments

Required information for an international foreign exchange wire payment include: Exact spelling of the name on the bank account, account number (IBAN for most European countries and some non-European countries; CLABE for Mexico), bank name, bank SWIFT or BIC code, bank Sort Code or International Routing Code (depending on the destination country), and the type of currency. Not all foreign currencies are tradeable and some may be unavailable to BYU to make international foreign exchange wire transfer payments.

Payment by foreign currency draft check may also be an option available depending on the type of currency requested.
