Endowment Payout Timeline

1st Calendar Year

Endowment Fund is Created
Once setup, the funds, a month or so later, will be invested in the University Investment Pool and start generating income

2nd Calendar Year

Endowment Fund Earn Income
The following year the fund will continue to generate income.

3rd Calendar Year

Endowment Begins Payout
Beginning in January, the fund will start paying out. The first payout will be based on the initial donated value multiplied by the payout rate (2024 4.5%).
