Non-BYU Dependent Benefits - Accounts Receivable

Students who are dependents of a mission president, a general authority, or an employee of another CES school are entitled to certain benefits, primarily tuition. Specific requirements and verification contacts for each group are identified below.

Mission President Dependent Benefit

Eligibility Criteria

  • Single
  • <26 years old
  • Undergraduate only
  • Under 152 credit hours
  • GOOD or WARN Academic standing

Who to contact
Email Jake Henderson (jake.henderson@byu.edu) with your name and student ID, your father’s name, the mission he is serving in, and when he was called.

General Authority Dependent Benefit

Eligibility Criteria

  • Child of General Authority (No benefit for spouse of dependent)
  • <26 years old
  • Undergraduate only
  • Under 152 credit hours
  • Any Academic Standing

Who to contact
Email Jake Henderson (jake.henderson@byu.edu) to advise our office that you are a dependent of a general authority.

BYU-Idaho Benefit

Eligibility Criteria

  • Dependent of BYU-Idaho Employee

Who to contact
Email the benefits office at BYUI (benefits@byui.edu.) They will verify the benefit and then email our Student Account Specialist at BYU.

BYU-Hawaii Benefit


Eligibility Criteria

  • Dependent of BYU-Hawaii Employee

Who to contact

Ensign College

  • Dependent of Ensign College Employee
